About
I am Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Psychology at Florida International University and Co-Director of the Infant Development Research Center. My research focuses on the development of intersensory perception in both non-human animal infants and human infants. I am also focusing on the relation between developmental and evolutionary theory, with a particular interest in the role of developmental plasticity in evolutionary change.
